Strategic Research encompasses the not-for-profit programmes we run for UK government and other key stakeholders, all of which fulfil a technical challenge of national importance.
As the UK’s national laboratory, we are involved not only in leading on the delivery of strategic programmes – such as the Advanced Fuel Cycle Programme (AFCP) – but also in playing a crucial advisory or enabling role.
Collaboration across the nuclear sector and various others, here in the UK and globally, is therefore a key component of the success of these programmes.
