A kid’s guide to nuclear energy

Electricity is powering lots of things around us all the time – things that are plugged into sockets and
things that run on batteries.

Making sure we have enough electricity to power the things we need is hard work, especially as the
world is tackling climate change at the same time.

We’ve made a short video, to explain how most electricity is generated and tell you a little bit about
nuclear fuel and how it works. Take a look below.
