RadBall on Reuters TV

Reuters TV recently visited NNL at our Preston Laboratory to record a news item featuring RadBall.

RadBall is NNL’s novel, passive, radiation detection device which provides 3D visualisation of radiation from areas where effective measurements have not been previously possible.

RadBall is currently being trialled for use in helping to clean-up Fukushima. The technology has also previously had success – as a double winner at last year’s ICheme Awards (where it won the award for Innovation and Excellence in Health and Safety and inventor Steven Stanley won the Young Engineer of the Year Award).

RadBall inventor, Dr Steven Stanley and Technical Lead, Kat Lennox were both interviewed as part of the news item.
