Nexia Solutions is hosting the September 2004 Generation IV System Steering Committees meeting covering Advanced Nuclear Reactor Systems.
The US Department of Energy (DOE) launched the influential Generation IV initiative in 2000. Today, it groups leading organisations from ten member countries plus Euratom, with the aim of developing innovative nuclear systems (reactors and fuel cycles) likely to reach technical maturity by 2030. The ten countries participating in Generation IV are Argentina, Brazil, Canada, France, Japan, Republic of Korea, Republic of South Africa, Switzerland, USA and the UK with Nexia Solutions very involved. While in the UK, members of the International Steering Group visited the Nexia Solutions Technology Centre at Sellafield.
