National Nuclear Laboratory offers customers a diverse range of services in the area of plant process support. These services have been built up as a result of providing our customers with support to their operating plants over several decades. As a result, we provide a uniquely diverse service to our customers.
Process Development
Our process development service can be applied to any operating or decommissioning plant and includes process monitoring, process engineering consultancy as well as rig design, development and testing. Our unique facilities allow us to undertake process development work from inactive lab or rig hall work through to highly active hot cell work. We are also able to work with our customers to optimise their decommissioning processes and define their Post Operational Clean Out (POCO) strategies.

Plant Inspection Service
We offer an experienced plant inspection service which is valued by our customers for both statutory and emergency plant inspections and have significant experience in the development of novel plant inspection equipment to meet customers' needs.
Process Optimisation
Our effluents and products services include process support and optimisation of our customers effluent plants and we work with our customers to achieve compliance of their products to the required specification and issue resolution for non-conforming products.
