Site Management/Land Remediation>Site Investigations

Having safely delivered a wide range of site investigations at nuclear licensed sites, National Nuclear Laboratory can design and implement investigations specifically tailored to your site. Our expertise includes both intrusive and non-intrusive site characterisation techniques such as groundwater monitoring, microdrilling, geophysical surveys, borehole drilling, chemical and radiological analysis as well as geological interpretation to provide you with the information you need.

All of the data collected can be effectively managed using our Geographical Information System (GIS). This provides you with 2 and 3D models of your site and acts as a single point of access for all your site data.

Assessments

Our integrated team includes experimental, modelling and field expertise. NNL's experts have extensive experience in providing a full understanding of the geological and hydrogeological characteristics of a site and the behaviour of contamination.

Innovation

NNL is committed to developing innovative technologies and solutions to site investigation activities. Incorporating less-intrusive sampling and in-situ measurement technologies, these provide cost-effective and technically robust alternatives to tradtional approaches.
