The National Nuclear Laboratory offers a range of analytical techniques to assess the nature and quantities of waste derived from reprocessed fuel. This information is used to create inventories which, combined with our extensive knowledge, allows us to assess the suitability of waste for disposal. Using this data we can also produce simulations of a variety of wasteforms to assess the chemical evolution during storage or disposal.
Effluent process
We can also provide effluent process support as and when required to ensure that your plants run smoothly. In addition we can assist you in the development of safety cases for waste storage and disposal, providing all the underpinning technical documentation you need to ensure safe operations.
