The National Nuclear Laboratory provides support to our customers' planning processes over the lifetime of their plants. We are able to do this by combing a range of business analysis tools including business process modelling and optimisation, risk modelling, statistical analysis and strategic modelling and analysis with our in-depth technical of our customers' plants.
Acknowledge expertise
NNL's world acknowledged expertise in corrosion, coupled with a wide range of modelling tools (including electromagnetics, computational fluid dynamics, thermal and stress analysis and chemical corrosion modelling) and outstanding facilities enables us to work with customers to undertake plant lifetime integrity assessments, predicting the lifetime of plants under a range of operating conditions.
Future Planning
NNL will also consider alternative future uses for plant, including alternative processes such as undertaking fuel storage/conditioning optioneering, concept design, simulation and testing.
