Fuel Performance
NNL addresses the design and performance of nuclear fuel, including the development of tools and methods for fuel performance modelling. Reactors covered include thermal and fast neutron systems, LWRs, HTRs and Generation IV systems. This expertise is underpinned by the use of the ENIGMA code for modelling the thermo-mechanical behaviour of fuel.
