We provide technically underpinned advice on wasteform selection, based on our extensive experience in working with UK regulators over many years. We also produce required technical documentation to support customers through the wasteform approvals process.
Bespoke processes
NNL can undertake design and development work on potential waste processs for all types of waste. We can complement this service by designing, building and operating smallscale, bespoke waste treatment processes.
Uranium
NNL can recover and recyle customers' uranium from intermediate and low level wastes and we can process uranium residues. We also treat and dispose of graphite.
Effluent Services
To ensure we offer a full service to customers, we provide effluent process optioneering and design, development, testing and consultancy. These services are backed by long term experience supporting effluent plants at Sellafield. We also have the capability to underpin process optioneering through modelling chemical reactions and fluid dynamics and validate this through experimental studies.
