NNL in the Community

NNL was proud to be one of the sponsors at the recent Drigg and Carleton Annual Village Gala. Visitors enjoyed a range of attractions including a rodeo bull, climbing wall and Jason the Juggler. In addition, there were dance displays, art competitions and fancy dress.

All in all, a great family day out. Barney Whyte, NNL Project Manager said”It’s great to get involved in events like this where people are out for a fun day. It invokes a real sense of community – and that’s something that is important to NNL and people like me who work there.”

In addition to this event, NNL takes its Corporate Responsibility very seriously. We help the Smallpeice Trust run nuclear engineering courses, work with the Engineering Education Trust to enable students to take part in real life engineering challenges and we support UK Youth in their work with young people.
