Huw Morgan, Sales Director
Huw has worked in the UK nuclear industry since 1978, initially with UKAEA at Springfields and Risley, carrying out testing of materials and structures for nuclear and non-nuclear plant. In 1991 he moved to Windscale to manage a team of Heat transfer, Fuel Modelling and PIE experts, gradually taking more interest in Business Development, particularly from overseas customers.
In 1996, Huw moved from UKAEA with the newly-privatised AEA Technology, undertaking a number of Operational Management and Business Development roles, based at Windscale, but with management responsibilities at Risley, Harwell and Winfrith. Huw became Operations Director for the AEA Technology Nuclear Science Business in 1998.
In 2001, with AEA Technology's decision to exit the Nuclear market, Huw moved to BNFL Research and Technology as Head of Facilities, and led R&T's aquisition into BNFL of that part of AEAT's nuclear business based primarily at Windscale. Since then, Huw has worked mostly in Business Development and Contract Management for R&T's successors, NSTS, Nexia Solutions and NNL.
