Director of Strategy and Planning
Andy has a more than 25 years experience in a range of engineering and management roles for various nuclear and waste management projects for BNFL.
Starting work as a process engineer for BNFL in 1976, Andy contributed to the development of processes for the treatment of Intermediate Level Waste. After progressing to the position of principal process engineer, he then moved into BNFL Engineering Sales and Marketing.
Prior to his current role, Andy was the Head of Technology for Spent Fuel Management and Recycle at BNFL, responsible for 150 people. Now, as Strategy and Planning Director, Andy supports and leads the business, developing policy and formulating direction and strategy. He also accountable for our corporate responsibility activities, including Environment, Health, Safety and Quality.
